My PlayStation Enables Anywhere Access for PlayStation Network Profiles

A new Web-based service from Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is now open for all to access; it’s called My PlayStation. It’s part of SIE efforts to provide users of the Sony PlayStation Network (PSN) anywhere access. Of course, this also includes full account management capabilities on other platforms.

With My PlayStation, PSN users can control and view their PSN profiles, friends-list, messages, and trophies from a Web browser. Now users can access their accounts from just about anywhere.

Personally, this move is the next logical step forward for a brand like PSN. What SIE is doing is highly reflects the efforts that respective games development studios put out for each title. It’s a nice touch that SIE uses the sleek and seamless look and feel that both recommended.

Since SIE put out the announcement at the end of February 2018, My PlayStation (my.playstation.com) has already been up and running. Users just need to log in with the proper PSN user details and they can start managing their profile immediately.

What My PlayStation offers now is the basic stuff. Even SIE confirmed it in the official blogpost that there will be new features coming to My PlayStation on a regular basis.
