On the mid-range section Sony releases the the Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra.

Both phones is fitted with a 23MP high res rear camera with a large 1/2.3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, bright F2.0 lens and superior lowlight capability. The Hybrid Autofocus ensures launch to capture in 0.6s, allowing for spontaneous moments to be always in focus.

Sporting an 8MP front camera, the XA1 has a 23mm wide-angle lens at the front, making group selfies more comfortable than cosy. The XA1 Ultra has a 16MP front camera with Optical Image Stabilizer as well as smart selfie flash, eliminating blurring due to handshake and giving better selfies in low light. Both models allows a ‘Hand Shutter’ camera feature – capturing selfies with just a wave.

Featuring edge-to-edge screen, the XA1 comes in a HD 5″ 720p screen while the XA1 Ultra is a 6″ FullHD 1080p screen. Both models hold a MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processors, which is power efficient and quick in performance.

Like their flagship, the two Sony mid-ranges come with adaptive charging for better battery life, stamina mode, and a smart cleaner to manage the performance and memory of your device. Both also come with quick charging.

New addition Xperia Actions aims to learn usage patterns to suggest customisable settings and personalise recommendations. For example, when you go to bed your Xperia can learn your bedtime routine and automatically adjust the screen brightness and call volume.

Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra will roll out from Spring 2017 with Android N at launch and come in a choice of White, Black, Pink and Gold.
