Xiaomi announced its latest flagship smartphone Mi 5, set to take the smartphone market by storm. The 5.1-inch smartphone is fitted with a full High-Definition display with a ceramic design. Mi 5 will be the first of its kind to have a fingerprint scanner on the front. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, it has 3,000 mAh battery, making it a powerful device Xiaomi’s lovers must get.
Xiaomi boasts the screens brightness with its 16 low-power LED’s behind the screen, with a result of 600 nits max brightness. Mi 5 is also fitted with a 16 megapixels rear-facing camera that can also shoots 4K video. On the front side, a 4 megapixel camera is fitted making a selfie shot worthwhile.
The weight of this flagship smartphone is barely 130 grams, making it one of the lightest smartphone in recent times. It is also fitted with 4GB of RAM, making watching videos or even playing high resolution games smooth without any interference. Running on Android’s latest 6.0 Marshmallow, making functions such as Doze mode and granular app usable. In terms of performance, it is fitted with Adreno 530 GPU, which guarantees high quality graphics.
The Mi 5 supports 4G connectivity, with a maximum download speed of 600 Mbps, together with dual sim and VoLTE technology for a better call experience.
Xiaomi Malaysia commented on the news on its Facebook page, saying: “Yes, we can tell you that the #Mi5 will be coming to Malaysia!”
