Mobile World Congress (MWC) is currently being held in Barcelona, Spain, where it features some of the top technology brands in the world with a slew of new product announcements and sneak peeks that are set to dictate the trends for the year.

Not one to be left out, Lenovo has also announced the all-new Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus smartphone that will be running on the powerful Octa-Core processor with rich Dolby Atmos audio, and a vibrant 5-inch display combined with surround sound and stunning visuals.

Priced at an affordable rate of US$149, the phone will be competitively priced in the Western world, in comparison with South East Asian markets. According to Lenovo, the Vibe K5 Plus carries a Snapdragon 616 chip and full high definition 1080p screen. Lenovo VIBE K5_Silver Lenovo VIBE K5_Gold

It is also touted to combines brilliant performance for its asking price. Designed for multimedia enthusiasts on a budget, this lightweight smartphone offers 5″ Wide View FHD displays for rich, smooth videos. As it comes with LTE connectivity and an optional octa-core processor, users get blazing speeds for their latest games, while its storage can be expanded to a total of 48GB.

The Vibe K5 Plus and K5 spot very little difference when it comes to design, but as mentioned earlier, the latest K-series smartphones will have exclusive features.

As revealed at MWC, we can say that the K-series smartphone will be available with dual SIM and comes with a choice of three colours, namely Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold, and Graphite Gray.
