Just a month ago, Mushi and Mineski introduced a new team to take on the ever-gruelling task of being the best Dota 2 team in Southeast Asia. That dream is slowly becoming a reality as Mineski have qualified for two Minors, the PGL Open Bucharest and the StarLadder i-League Invitational #3.
Ever since the roster change, Mineski have been unstoppable of late, taking out two top Filipino teams to qualify for both the Minors. PGL Bucharest saw them top the group stage, which included fellow Malaysian team, Fnatic. The playoffs were pretty straightforward as Mineski took a clean two-nil sweep in their games against WarriorsGaming.Unity, and then Execration in the finals to qualify.
StarLadder was another stomp for Mushi and Co. as they were in the Winners Bracket of the entire tournament, not dropping a single game. Mineski rampaged through teams like Clutch Gamers, BOOM ID, Execration and finally TNC Pro Team in the finals. StarLadder will take place in Kiev later this month and Mineski will join other teams like Na’Vi and SG e-sports, both of whom also went through qualifiers. All three teams will join TI7 champions Team Liquid and Newbee.
