MSI Unveils World’s First 500Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitors With AI At COMPUTEX 2025

MSI has unveiled a new generation of AI-powered QD-OLED gaming monitors at COMPUTEX 2025, introducing cutting-edge features that integrate artificial intelligence to boost gaming performance, visual clarity, and energy efficiency.

Leading the showcase is the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50, the world’s first 27-inch 2K QD-OLED gaming monitor featuring a 500Hz refresh rate, paired with a 0.03ms GTG response time and WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. It uses Samsung Display’s latest 3rd-generation QD-OLED panel and is certified with VESA ClearMR 21000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500 for exceptional motion clarity and contrast.

The monitor debuts MSI’s proprietary AI Navigator and AI Care Sensor. The AI Care Sensor uses a CMOS sensor with an NPU-based IC to detect human presence in real time, adjusting settings dynamically to protect the monitor from burn-in and improve energy efficiency. If no user is detected, it automatically powers down or activates OLED care features, extending lifespan and conserving power.

Also introduced is the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50, MSI’s first 27” 2K QD-OLED esports monitor with the same 500Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and QD-OLED panel technology. It covers 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut, ensuring accurate, vibrant visuals optimised for competitive gaming.

With these launches, MSI sets a new benchmark in monitor innovation, delivering elite performance, smart energy use, and AI-driven adaptability tailored for professional and esports gamers.
