MSI Unveils Next-Generation QD-OLED And AI Gaming Monitors At CES 2026

MSI has launched two new monitors at CES 2026, showcasing advanced display and artificial intelligence technologies for gamers.

The MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 is a 34-inch 21:9 UWQHD monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate. It features MSI’s 5th-generation QD-OLED panel, which features an RGB Stripe sub-pixel layout, Tandem OLED technology, and PureBlack technology, designed to enhance contrast and reduce ambient light reflection.

The display also includes MSI’s HDR Curve Customization for precise high-dynamic-range control and the OLED Care 3.0 AI Care Sensor, which detects user presence to prevent burn-in and extend panel lifespan.

MSI highlighted improvements in panel durability, raising hardness from 2H to 3H to resist scratches, and claimed the display minimises colour fringing and enhances text clarity. The combination of these technologies aims to deliver high-speed, high-fidelity visuals while preserving the screen’s longevity.

Alongside the QD-OLED monitor, MSI introduced its flagship MEG X AI gaming monitor.

The MEG X incorporates a suite of AI-driven gaming functions including AI Tracker, AI Gauge, AI Vision+, AI Scene, AI Goggle, and AI Scope designed to analyse on-screen visuals in real time, independent of specific game support.

The monitor also features AI Robot Lite, a voice-activated assistant that controls monitor settings and provides hands-free support during gameplay.

Both products emphasise MSI’s focus on integrating intelligent design and advanced AI tools to enhance gaming performance and user experience. Further details on the MEG X are expected as CES 2026 continues.
