Xiaomi brings their band-wagon (ha, see what I did there?) to Malaysia! Also, more power banks.

Xiaomi Malaysia  wants us Malaysians to be fit, as they finally bring in the Mi Band to our shores. It will be available in Malaysia beginning 16 Dec 2014, as part of Xiaomi Malaysia’s Christmas sale. You’ll need to get the Fitness Bundle to own it, since you won’t be able to buy it separately at this point in time. The Mi Band’s retail price is at RM59, but we’re not sure when they will make it available as a standalone optional, for the thousands that have already purchased the Redmi Note 4G that’s part of the bundle.

For those looking to add more juice to their devices everyday, Xiaomi will also be bringing in a massive 16000 mAh Powerbank to those of you always on the go. These will be bundled along with the Redmi Note 4G as well and will be given an apt name – the “Power Bundle”. Again, while there’s a retail price for the 16000 mAh powerbank, RM79, the only way you can get one now is to purchase a Power Bundle during the sale that begins 11 Dec 2014 (so don’t miss out!).

Another new accessory coming to Malaysia is the 16000mAh Power Bank, which will be available starting 11 Dec 2014. This will be available through the Power Bundle (RM614 to RM668), which comes with a Redmi Note 4G and a Power Bank (three capacities available). The retail price of the 16000mAh Power Bank is RM79, but take note that it will not be sold separately at the moment.

A Fitness Bundle will set you back RM648, and comes with not only a Mi Band but also a Redmi 4G. While the Power Bundle (Redmi Note 4G + Mi Powerbank) will be priced at RM614 to RM668 depending on the powerbank capacity you’ve chosen.
