You know those scary stories that where someone found photos that mysteriously appeared on their phones and they don’t know where those photos came from or who took them? Well luckily for you (and not so much for me) this isn’t one of those stories.
The incident took place in Batu Pahat, Johor. So Zackrydz Rodzi shared on Twitter what he discovered after finding his missing iPhone. The phone went missing some time at noon after he woke up from a nap. He went searching for it all over the house and all he could find was the phone case but no sign of the phone itself.
Fearing someone might stolen in even though there was no signs of force entry, he then asked his brother to call his phone and they heard it ringing somewhere in the nearby jungle. How did it get there?
So after the iPhone has been retrieved and cleaned, he then opens up the gallery of his iPhone and to his surprise, the perpetrator who took his phone took several images, videos and a few selfie as well. The culprit? A monkey. Yup.
So apparently the monkey must have climbed up the tree next to the house onto the roof and into his room and took his phone. Guess it was looking for a new toy to play with and dropped it when the phone rang. It’s okay Monkey, I have phone call anxiety too.
Below you can see some images the monkey took and I gotta say, they’re not bad. Maybe the monkey has a dream of being a photographer and “borrowed” Zack’s iPhone to practice his skills.

And here are a few selfies too. Probably took them to be credited for the photos it took.

It’s a good thing that Zackrydz’s iPhone was fully charged before he went to bed that night otherwise he probably never would have found it. If you wanna read more on the story, you can go to Zackrydz’s twitter thread
The last time a monkey stole something from me was my bag of potato chips. I was trying to hand it fruits but it grabbed my chips then I was left with the fruits. Rude.
Do you have a similar story? Has a monkey or any animal stole your belongings? How did you get them back? We’d love to hear all about it.
