MOH Warned Against Spread Of False Information Regarding COVID-19

The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) has issued a warning regarding attempts to circulate false information that was previously debunked by the ministry on November 1, 2022.

In light of this, the public has been strongly advised against sharing such information to prevent causing panic.

MOH urged the community not to easily succumb to unverified statements, emphasising the importance of verifying the authenticity of information before dissemination.

Highlighting the detrimental effects of spreading false information, KKM emphasised that such actions do not serve the well-being of society.

MOH consistently provides updates on the current COVID-19 situation, including variants, through official press releases and encourages individuals to access KKMNOW for the latest data regarding COVID-19 infections.

This advisory seeks to ensure that the public relies on verified and authentic sources for crucial information, reinforcing the importance of obtaining accurate and verified data directly from credible health authorities.
