They were not figment of our imagination, while the virus is airborne and can only be contracted via physical contact, there are highly infectious areas where concentration of the virus could be more widespread. How these zones came about is not by the virus taking refuge and or deciding to put up their base there, but these zones came about due to the higher number of cases recorded by MOH possibly from the initial clusters who contracted the disease.
In view of this, the Ministry of Health is taking extra attention to these zones and advice’s the public to stay away until they are declassified and deemed safe. Disinfection work has already started and currently being carried out by health officers on a regular basis, to stem the spread and infecting nearby districts. Most of the hot or Red zones are in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, these were reflected in the high number of cases and deaths from these 2 states. On the overall MOH has listed a total of 13 zones on the Dangerous list at the moment with Lembah Pantai topping it with the highest number of cases of 218 followed by Petaling Jaya at 209.

As noted, terms of states, Selangor recorded the highest with 579 cases then comes Wilayah Persekutuan 344 with Johor being third with 285 cases thus far. With this list, it is now confirmed that every state in Malaysia has an infection.
