Microsoft today announced that the Surface Pro X will be available for pre-orders in Malaysia starting 9 January 2020.
The Surface Pro X is the latest addition to the Surface family of devices, and has a focus on mobility and being powerful. It’s the thinnest Surface, and comes with an edge-to-edge 13″ touchscreen, and LTE connectivity.

Surface Pro X: What It Comes With
The all-new Surface Pro X is Microsoft’s measures in at 7.3mm and weighs 774g, Surface Pro X features a 13” edge-to-edge PixelSense Display in a 12” form factor. It also comes with their signature 3:2 ratio, which apparently helps users maximise their workspace.
It’s also powered by an all-new custom Microsoft SQ1 processor, which was developed in partnership with Qualcomm. This makes for a device that has a combination of pixels, performance, thinness, battery life and LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. Other features include removable solid-state drive (SSD) options, as well as dual 4K video output via USB-C. The battery life can last up to 13 hours, and has fast-charging which can get you up to 80% in approximately an hour.
Peripherals & Accessories
The Surface line-up is known for their creativity functions, and inking, as well as mouse and keyboard inputs. With that, they’ve made some new accessories to get you geared up into a portable studio. It has the all-new Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard, Surface Slim Pen, as well as the Surface Arc Mouse.
They’ve even implemented the new Surface Slim Pen to be able to be charged and stored securely in the Alcantara covered Pro X Signature Keyboard. The keyboard features a laptop-class keyset, backlit keys, and a large multi-touch glass trackpad.
Pre-order, availabilities and pricing
Starting 9 January, Surface Pro X will be available for pre-orders via commercial authorised resellers Prestariang, Software One, and authorised retailers All IT, Gizmart by PC Image, Gloo by SNS, Harvey Norman, Lazada Microsoft flagship store, Senheng, Shopee-Microsoft flagship store, and TMT by Thundermatch.
The line-up will be generally available from 17 January 2020.
