A patent filed by Microsoft was uncovered by MSPoweruser which describes a potential feature of Hololens. If true, the hololens would be used for automatic object tracking through augmented reality.

Theoretically, this would allow the system to track your groceries, keys and much more so your personal assistant of choice can give you live updates on where they are on demand.
