Microsoft has launched pre-orders in Malaysia for its latest Surface Copilot+ devices: the Surface Pro, 12-inch and Surface Laptop, 13-inch. Both models are designed to deliver AI-enhanced productivity and will be available from July 22.

Powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor and built-in 45 TOPS NPU, the new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop bring Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC experiences to consumers, enabling features like Recall (preview), AI-enhanced search, and Click to Do (preview). These capabilities allow users to retrace activity, find files more efficiently, and take contextual actions using AI tools.

The Surface Laptop, 13-inch is Microsoft’s thinnest and lightest to date, offering up to 23 hours of video playback and 16 hours of web browsing. Its 13-inch touchscreen features ultra-thin bezels, a fingerprint reader, a redesigned keyboard, and AI-powered camera enhancements. It is available in Platinum, with pricing starting at RM4,488.

Meanwhile, the Surface Pro, 12-inch retains the classic 2-in-1 design with a detachable keyboard and adjustable kickstand, weighing only 680 grams. It also features all-day battery life, AI-optimised functionality, and a reimagined keyboard with an integrated Copilot key. The device is priced at RM3,999.

Sustainability remains central, with both models incorporating 100% recycled cobalt in the battery, and various recycled materials in the chassis and magnets. Components have also been designed for easier repair by authorised service providers.

Both devices ship with Windows 11 and position themselves as upgrade-ready options ahead of Windows 10’s end of support on Oct 14 2025. Microsoft is offering limited-time pre-order promotions for Malaysian buyers: a complimentary Surface Pro Keyboard with the Surface Pro, and a Surface Arc Mouse with the Surface Laptop, while stocks last.
