According to a recent email sent out to customers, Microsoft is expanding the install base options for its Office 365 products. Both Personal and Home subscription customers can soon enjoy more installs and users under the same subscription without spending extra.
Currently, Office 365 is offered in multiple versions, including Home, Personal, Student and Enterprise. The new announcement will affect the Personal and Home subscription customers globally.

From 2nd October 2018, Office 365 Personal will now allow subscribers to install up to five devices at the same time, and have each device logged into the same account. Previously, this level of subscription only allows a single PC and a single tablet install each (where the tablet are devices smaller than 10-inches). Office 365 Home meanwhile adds one more user to the subscription, increasing the number of family members under the account from five to six. With each family member can install Office onto two devices at the same time, Home subscribers now can have Office 365 installed onto 12 devices at the same time.
Recently Microsoft also reduced the monthly charges for Office 365, from RM 27.99 to RM 27.00 for Personal and from RM 37.99 to RM 36.00 a month each. These changes should be an impetus for potential customers to hop-on the subscription service offered by Microsoft.
