Maxis Ties With Shopback To Tap Online Shoppers

Maxis with over 2 million postpaid customers is working with online shopping site Shopback to tap the burgeoning eCommerce market. The telco looks to offer its subscribers and potential new users exciting benefits when by just doing what the enjoy most.

New customers who sign up for the Maxis ShopBack account will be given RM30 and can start making transaction over the online site. The tie up will allow these customers to get cashback from purchases and while Maxis customers can earn up to 50% extra cashback and get exclusive deals from selected partners.

“Statistics reveal that Malaysians are spending more than ever online. The number of online transactions continues to increase with Malaysia having the highest penetration of online shoppers. We worked with ShopBack to add value to our customers through these exclusive deals,” said Dushyan Vaithiyanathan, Maxis’ Head of Consumer Business.

For those interested to participate in this campaign will first need to sign up for a Maxis ShopBack account while existing ShopBack customers will need to sign up if they want to enjoy the cashback. Those who have earned the cash can then either cash out or pay their Maxis bills.
