Exabytes Network Sdn Bhd (Exabytes) announces its partnership with Japanese Payment Gateway (GMO-PG) to provide better service and coverage of regions to their clients. GMO-PG services are now available in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and now Malaysia.
“The E-Commerce market in South Eastern Asia is expected to grow at an annual average rate of 37.6% from 2013 to 2018, making it an attractive sector for Japanese merchants looking to do business in Malaysia,” says Exabytes’ Founder and CEO, Chan Kee Siak.
The forecasted year-on-year growth of the market is a good indication of the opportunities and potential that has yet to be unleashed. The partnership hopes to also provide Japanese businesses that are using the EasyStore solution to set up their online stores, to offer customers secure online credit card transactions via the Japanese GMO-PG payment gateway.
Chan adds: “EasyStore is an all-in-one solution to help SMEs to easily set up an online store. SMEs are able to easily design, manage and automate a lot of business processes that is needed to run an online store. Currently there is more than 15,000 successful online stores that is using (this) solution.”
With the GMO-PG payment gateway in place, Malaysian businesses can also explore entering the Japanese E-Commerce market. Moreover, Exabytes’ clients can easily and readily penetrate into other markets that GMO-PG is currently available in.
