We could be looking at real life Mario Kart?
GameZone reported that a new trademark listing might shed some light into what to expect from the Universal Studios and Nintendo partnership. GameZone wrote that “There are outlines that imply merchandise like shirts, hoodies, and accessories, but what’s really exciting is the list of potential rides and shows planned. One listing definitely catches the eye as it reads: organization, management or arrangement of kart racing.”
This could have a number of implications – with the most immediate pointing to Mario Kart, since Mario is the only franchise to have been featured in promos and announcements regarding Super Nintendo World. Of course it could also mean a simple themed convoy type parade.
The partnership was announced last year for Universal Studios’ Orlando, Hollywood, and Osaka parks. While there hasn’t been any definitive announcements to which IPs are featured – minus Mario – fans are eager for attractions featuring ‘The Legend of Zelda’ or anything that has to do with Pokemon.
“Many of the other listing information ranges from the possibility of actual Nintendo games and devices (maybe theme park exclusives) sold in the park, to an interactive arcade featuring classic titles.” GameZone reports.
