Apple is very particular on the components that goes into its hardware and how they all come together in offering customers the quality experience they would expect from the company. So, it comes as no surprise AMD will be supplying the next generation AMD Radeon Vega mobile graphics for Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro starting November.
The AMD Radeon Pro Vega 20 and Radeon Pro Vega 16 graphics are configuration made available for the notebooks offering unparalleled graphics. Made to deliver superb performance in 3D rendering, photo and video editing, and creative applications, the graphic can also deliver 1080p HD for gaming.
Powered by the AMD “Vega” architecture, the new graphics processors were engineered to excel in notebooks for cool and quiet operation. In addition, the processor’s razor-thin design features HBM2 memory (2nd Generation High Bandwidth Memory), which takes up less space in a notebook compared to traditional GDDR5-based graphics processors.

Next-generation “Vega” architecture compute units (nCU) and Rapid Packed Math offer fast and flexible computational capabilities, improve workloads in real-time graphics like 3D visualisation.
