Louis Vuitton is entering into uncharted territory. It entered into a partnership with New-York based audio company, Master & Dynamic to release a set of truly wireless earbuds. The luxury fashion house’s branding is etched onto the buds – the Louis Vuitton Horizon.
The earbuds are actually a pair of Master & Dynamics MW07 wireless earbuds released last year for a whopping US$299 (RM1,230). There is nothing new about the pair, save for the iconic LV logo, monogram/motif and four new colour options.
As for the sound quality, it is reportedly impressive. The Verge made note on its solid audio quality but not necessarily better than that of its competitors from Apple, Sony and Jabra (they costs much less too). Even battery life is poor at 3.5 hours (the case provides an extra three charges).
These LV buds come with a matching polished stainless steel case in either black or white.
So, what do you think? Oh yes, these LV pair will set you back by US$700 (RM 2,878) – about US$400 extra. Worth it or not?
