A Little Knowledge Goes a Long Way

Recently, our friends over at Lowyat.net published an article talking about the leaking of personal data of millions of Malaysians. This data belonging to the likes of JobStreet.com and such were put up for sale on Lowyat Forums, along with the motherload of it all, customer data from plenty of telco companies in Malaysia, including Maxis, Digi, Celcom and Umobile.

To know for sure if your data has been breached, we have come across a site that allows you to check for certain if it has happened. Simply list down your IC number. The site in question is sayakenahack.com. As stated from the site, said user has uploaded data from Maxis, Digi, Celcom and Umobile so if you’re using any of these four telcos, you can head on over to the site to give it a look.
