LG Electronics is partnering with Meridian Audio for the next series of speakers that will be showcased at the upcoming Consumer Electronic Show in Vegas. All in all there will be three different models on show from soundbars, portable Bluetooth speakers to AI enabled audio system.

The new SK10Y soundbar can deliver 550W of output and supports 5.1.2 channels using Dolby Atmos technology. Unique approach on the build of the Meridian equipped speaker is its pair of upward position speakers which produced surround sound including coming from the ceiling, users can adjust the volume of the upfiring speakers to optimise the sound with the height of the ceiling in room.

As for the portable PK series speaker are compatible with the Apt-X HD Bluetooth standard for streaming 24-bit music over a wireless connection for listening experience that comes close to the original. For an added visual flair, Dynamic Party Lighting flashes to the beat and all three PK models feature rugged designs and convenient grips for easy handling. Bringing AI into the living room, the LG ThinQ Speaker with Google Assistant is a personalised voice-activated interface for LG’s smart home appliances. The LG ThinQ Speaker can be set to turn on an LG appliance with the simple commands “OK Google, talk to LG, turn on the air purifier.”
