Another day another smartphone launch, no prizes for guessing from which region but the influx continues with another Shenzhen based mobile phone maker set to unveil their flagship model the Leagoo Elite 1 next week in Bangsar.
What we know about the company is that it was established not too long ago and once an OEM and parts manufacturer has now turned to producing their own branded devices. The Elite 1 features some high end specification with 16 megapixel fourth generation stacked camera from Sony coupled with f2.0 aperture. Without giving to much away before the launch we also know the phone will be powered by a 64btit Octa Core processor and 3GB DDR RAM.
Is there space for more players? Short answer, yes there is. Look at all the China brands already in the market, with smartphone penetration still not 100% and having an active turnover makes our country highly attractive for new players. The formula of cheap and feature rich overrides everything else at the moment.
