The Guardian reported that iPhone 6 users that have already updated their device or planning to will have a risk of their device failing them. The error known as “Error 53” permanently disables the smartphone if it detects that the device had been repaired by a third-party technician which isn’t affiliated with Apple.

The issue specifically affects the home-button of the Apple device which is equipped with Touch ID fingerprint scanner. But the real issue only happens when a user installs the latest iOS 9 update. Reports also state that tech experts have claimed that Apple knows all about the issue but has done nothing to warn its users.

Antonio Almos who works at the daily said ” How can a company make its own product useless with an upgrade,and not warn customers about it?”

Apple has been continuously growing in terms of its global fans to its revenue, but will this new issue affects its future growth? Could we say that by this move, Apple wants to wipe out its external competitors?
