Lalamove celebrated its 2019 milestone at an all-time high, with more than 800,000 fulfilled deliveries, over 3,500 small, medium and large businesses using its services, and a fleet of over 40,000 registered drivers on its platform. Since 2018, Lalamove has been a champion of efficient and fast deliveries through its app with an impressive 30-minute average delivery time.
This year, Lalamove aims to empower even more SMEs in the digital era with its scalable delivery solutions. The company plans to scale up its delivery fleet to support up to 10,000 SMEs with the goal of fulfilling 3 million deliveries by the end of 2020.
SMEs are one of the key areas of growth in Malaysia and are expected to contribute up to 41% of Malaysia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2020. Many of these businesses, however, face challenges as they may not have their own fleet of drivers. Lalamove’s on-demand delivery services, primarily through van, truck and lorry, aims to ease those burdens by offering an agile and scalable solution. Through an increased focus in targeting this segment, it is hoped that SMEs in larger-scale industries, such as manufacturing, warehousing and wholesale, will take advantage of Lalamove’s services to fulfil their delivery requirements.
This move is set to complement the rapid growth of the logistics sector in Malaysia by improving the efficiency of intra and inter-city deliveries. To find out more, visit Lalamove’s official website. The Lalamove app can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.
