JomStudi A One Stop Learning Hub For Young Students

To much delight, young students can now reduce lumbering over thick text books and turning pages after pages preparing for their exams, that’s because studying in now going digital with JomStudi.

A new learning portal with contents aggregated from numerous resources including Astro Tutor TV, Media Prima Full A Mark and content from MyDigitalMaker, the portal is endorsed by the Education Ministry to offer materials to students from Year 5, UPSR, PT3 and SPM. Designed to give access to everyone and spare for those who find tuition fees to expensive, JomStudi was conceptualised to make digital learning simpler and affordable. Additionally, students will have access to digital content from the #mydigitalmaker movement such as modules on coding, programming and other computational thinking competencies. An internet safety and resilience module called Digi World will also be made available on to ensure the students are aware of the importance of staying safe online.

YB Tuan Gobind lauded the collaboration, stating that closer public-private sector partnerships were critical to bridge the digital divide and change the way learning is experienced. It is important for the younger generation to start building digital skills and ensure that they have an appetite for lifelong learning to thrive in the future workforce.
