JBL Launches Open-Ear Headphones

JBL has introduced the Sense Lite, a new pair of open-ear headphones designed to allow users to enjoy immersive sound while remaining aware of their surroundings.

The device uses JBL OpenSound Technology with an Adaptive Bass Boost Algorithm, aimed at producing bass-rich audio without blocking the ear canal. According to JBL, the headphones are suited for commuting, outdoor activities and multitasking in busy environments where situational awareness is necessary.

“With the launch of the JBL Sense Lite, we are proud to introduce a product that exemplifies this vision. Combining advanced OpenSound Technology with Adaptive Bass Boost, Sense Lite delivers immersive, high-quality audio without compromising situational awareness,” said Ms Grace Koh, General Manager and Vice President, Consumer Audio, Harman Asia Pacific.

The headphones also feature four beamforming microphones, multipoint connectivity for seamless switching between devices, Google Fast Pair integration, and up to 32 hours of battery life with an IP54 water and dust resistance rating.

Priced at RM599, the Sense Lite is available in black and white through authorised retailers and online platforms. It will be showcased at the JBL City of Sound Roadshow at Southkey Johor Bahru from 8 to 14 September.
