It is now confirmed that Apple will be introducing a special edition of both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with its yearly (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition. This will see both the iPhones with a sleek red chassis aside from its Silver, Gold and Space Gray colourway. This yearly tradition with RED will once again see these special edition iPhones being sold and every purchase will go directly towards furthering HIV and AIDS research and treatment.

Much like its predecessor, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, these upcoming (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition iPhones will be exactly the same as the iPhones launched last September. From its display screen down to its hardware and storage, the key difference between both editions will be its red colourway splashing the back and sides of the iPhone.

Unfortunately, there will not be an iPhone X (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition for all you ballers and one-percenters so, tough luck. However, there will be an iPhone X Leather Case in the (PRODUCT)RED colourway alongside leather cases for both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. There will also be silicone cases for Apple’s flagship iPhones so you don’t have to worry about forking out a few thousand Ringgit for a new smartphone where a cover or case will do.

Aside from the iPhones, there will also be two new Apple Watch bands in the RED colourway, particularly a classic buckle as well as a sports band. If you want to donate even further, there will also be a Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones and a Beats Pill+ Portable Speaker.

While the pricing for the RED iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are not yet available, the leather cases will be available at RM229, RM209 and RM229 for the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus respectively. The silicone cases will also be made available at RM189 for the iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus while the iPhone 8 will be at RM169.

In terms of the watch band, you can choose between a 38 mm or a 42 mm band, which is where the pricing differs. Both sports bands will be RM219 while the classic buckle is RM719. Lastly, the Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones has a RM1,200 price tag while the Beats Pill+ Portable Speaker is RM990.
