Apple will be announcing what iOS 12 would look like soon, but that doesn’t mean iOS 11 is dead. In fact, Apple are putting out iOS 11.4 for users now! The latest update brings two features promised last year; Apple users are now getting AirPlay 2 and iMessages in iCloud.

AirPlay 2 is here and brings with it an advanced wireless multi-room audio system. It lets you create an easy way to stream from anywhere at home onto any device, all in-sync. You can control what device plays what through the Control Center. Siri can also be used to play music from any device anywhere at home. Users can access AirPlay 2 controls from any app across iOS as well for easy access to AirPlay 2. Apple will also be putting out an update allowing Siri to control music on AirPlay 2 speakers from other companies such as Bang & Olufsen, Bluesound, Bose, Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Libratone, Marantz, Marshall, Naim, Pioneer, and Sonos.
On top of that, the long awaited Messages in iCloud feature is here too. It lets users keep conversations up to date across all Apple devices such as iPhone and Mac. Apple users can easily access your chat history when setting up new devices thanks to Messages stored in iCloud. Also, when you delete a message off one device, it’s gone else where too as they’re all in sync. Your device will also have some extra space since everything is on iCloud now, even attachments. You won’t have to worry about security too; Apple encrypts your messages in iCloud. Your device’s unique information places a key on it and combined with your device password ensures no one will get to your precious data.
