Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 691 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 13, 504 cases, with 2, 936 active cases as of October 6. The 691  new cases are broken down as 3 imported and 688 domestic.

87 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 10,427. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 77.22 percent.

There are currently 31 cases being treated in the ICU, with 8 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 4 to a total of 141.
