We have had our own heart-wrenching, guilt-consuming moments this year when it comes to refugees crisis. We have seen the government turned away those poor souls from Rohingya, forever ping-pong-ed between countries who refused to accept them. With the ongoing crisis in the Middle East and Europe, the number of people fleeing their war-torn countries are increasing and we, who have been blessed with peace and security, should at least do something about it.
These refugees and immigrants are in need of humanitarian assistance. Therefore, Imagine Dragons and SAP have joined forces to provide some of that relief through the One4 Project.
Dan Reynolds, lead singer of Imagine Dragons said, “The refugee crisis is incredibly urgent in terms of the number of vulnerable people being affected every single day. As a band, we wanted to get involved and decided to partner with SAP and Apple to try and make a difference.”
How you can contribute? Just download Imagine Dragon’s newly released song called ‘I Was Me’ and all proceeds from the sale will be donated to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). Plus, SAP will donate US$0.10 for every download up to the first 5 million downloads from iTunes.
