In a time where startups are heralded as bravado for risk taking, iflix a Malaysian internet TV service provider moved into the nascent entertainment streaming space before the likes of giants like Netflix and Amazon hit the Asian shores. For any streaming service to hold audience and sustainability will be the library of content it offers, iflix boast having the largest library of the world’s top TV shows and movies in the region by way of agreements with over 60 of the world’s leading studios and content distributors including Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Disney, Warner Bros, Paramount, NBC Universal, Fox, CBS, BBC and Media Prima to name a few. It also has exclusive rights to such global breakout hit shows as Mr. Robot, Fargo, Aquarius, Minority Report, Black Sails and more, the shows are available for the first time in Asia, exclusively on the app.

Service are now available in Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines and promises to continue roll out its service to additional key Southeast Asian markets in coming months. Each subscription allows users to access the service on up to five devices, including phones, laptops, tablets, and television sets, for viewing.
The service is priced at RM8 per month in Malaysia for unlimited access and highlights the no ads feature on its service. For new subscribers, iflix offers a complimentary 30-day trial with full access to features and content, with no credit card or payment details required.
