HUAWEI Might Offer Backup as Freebie With P30 Series Release In Malaysia

The P30 series is about to release on the 26th of March at Paris based on a teaser video with a media release. The video teaser showcases zooming in to the Eiffel Tower which is probably a demonstration of P30’s Zooming capabilities. And with that, HUAWEI’s P30 series is launching in Malaysia soon. With the device, HUAWEI are planning to include the HUAWEI Backup as a freebie.

The HUAWEI Backup is available in China for RMB 699 (RM 426) and is a round shaped device. It incorporates a dual-use charger and is housed in waterproof fabric material. It also includes a 1TB external hard drive. With this, you can plug in your device and have it on charge while the Backup automatically or manually backs up data.

These include photos, videos ,documents and apps instantly backed up without having to install any other apps. Weighing about 270g, it also allows charging of 5V2A, HUAWEI fast charge or HUAWEI super fast charge.

The P30 is touted to be HUAWEI’s new flagship in photography. The P series focuses on the cameras and the P20 was actually the first smartphone to introduce a triple camera. Now with the upcoming release of the P30, HUAWEI is looking to conquer the smartphone camera game. Co-developed with Leica, the device is set to feature a triple camera setup with HUAWEI’s signature optics.
