Huawei Among World’s Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in 2016

Brand Finance recently announced its 2016 “Global Top 100 Most Valuable Brands” list, and Huawei came in at 47th. Being a company with the third largest share of the smartphone market, Huawei has achieved sales amounting to more than 100 million units.

In 2014, Huawei became the first Chinese company to be chosen for the Interbrand “Best Global Brands”, when it was ranked in 94th place. In October 2015, Huawei was again ranked among the Interbrand “Best Global Brands”, this time rose to 88th place.

Over time, Huawei has been a strong pillar for its overseas businesses and now ranks third in terms of global smartphone share. Going into 2016, he company plans to expand further into overseas markets, widen its lead in the Chinese market, and catch up with Apple and Samsung in the high-end market.

Huawei had also recently announced its newest global brand ambassador, Lionel Messi. The Barcelona FC star together with Huawei will continuously help Huawei to go further in the high-end market. Besides that, it is also sponsoring football and other sports around the world, and as a result, bringing tremendous growth to Huawei’s sales in Europe and America.
