HP Malaysia long serving employee who eventually become the Managing Director of HP PPS after the restructuring process has departed the company recently. Kym Lim who had an illustrious career at the company started as a contract staff and slowly made her way up, becoming the head of the Malaysian operation for printer and PC business at HP. It’s unclear on her reason to leave or where she will heading next.

In the interim, HP Malaysia has appointed Jacob T Jacob as Managing Director until the company finds a suitable replacement. Jacob served as the main lead in the printer division and will be taking the task of ensuring operation flows smoothly without interruption. HP Malaysia has been active with new product launches, new notebooks and gaming hardware and in the printer segment, the integration of Samsung printers was just concluded. With momentum on its side, its crucial there’s no disruption to the good work put in place and that there will be an official announcement for a permanent MD is made soon.
