HP Malaysia Launches AI PC Lab To Equip Educators And Youths With Digital Skills

HP Malaysia has introduced the “HP AI PC Lab,” a roving initiative aimed at equipping Malaysian educators and students with vital AI and digital skills. The lab, featuring HP’s latest AI-powered PCs, will travel to over 25 locations nationwide, targeting High Performance Secondary Schools and public venues. It is expected to impact approximately 5,000 participants, including educators, students, and the general public.

The programme began with an AI PC Masterclass held at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), attended by over 300 educators from Selangor. The event highlighted the integration of AI tools in education, aligning with the Ministry of Education’s 2023 Digital Education Policy and the Teacher’s Day theme Guru Jauhari Digital.

Alex Tan, Managing Director of HP Malaysia, remarked:
“As Malaysia embraces the growing potential of AI, we recognise the importance of preparing educators and students for this shift. HP is proud to provide hands-on experience with our latest AI-powered PCs to schools, offering educators and students direct access to innovative technologies in hope to inspire and accelerate their personal and academic growth.”

The HP AI PC Lab will embark on a six-week tour covering locations in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Melaka, Johor, and Penang. At each stop, participants can explore hands-on demonstrations with the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 and HP EliteBook 800 G11, designed for flexibility, productivity, and sustainability.
