HONOR will launch its latest foldable flagship, the HONOR Magic V5, in Malaysia on July 15, 2025, marking a major leap in foldable technology with the world’s slimmest foldable design at just 8.8mm.
Despite its ultra-thin profile, comparable to a 50 sen coin, the HONOR Magic V5 does not compromise on performance, featuring a 5,820mAh HONOR Silicon-Carbon Battery, 66W wired and 50W wireless charging and the new HONOR E2 Power Enhanced Chip for longer battery life and energy efficiency.
For imaging, the device is equipped with a 64MP Periscope Telephoto Camera with up to 100x digital zoom, alongside AI-powered tools such as AI Super Zoom and AI Enhanced Portrait. Post-editing tools, including AI Cutout, Eraser, Outpainting and Upscale, are also integrated for advanced photo enhancements.
Durability is a standout feature, with the inner screen reinforced by Non-Newtonian Fluid tech for drop resistance and an outer screen protected by Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield. The carbon fibre back and Super Steel Hinge allow the device to withstand up to 35kg of weight and 500,000 folds, equivalent to 13 years of usage. The Magic V5 is also rated IP58 and IP59 for dust and water resistance.
