Honor Malaysia is officially releasing the Honor 10 flagship device for Malaysia. It’s Honor’s first notched display phone that has a glass and metal aurora design. Incredibly, it’s priced extremely competitively at just RM1,699.

The HiSilicon Kirin 970 powers the Honor 10 underneath. The Kirin 970 comes with an independent NPU for extra AI functional blocks. Screenwise, the Honor 10 has a 19:9 bezelless True Color Display with a NTSC 96% wide colour gamut. The Honor 10’s OS meanwhile is the EMUI 8.1, based on the Android 8.1. It allows AI-based capabilities, making software experience smarter as well as quicker.
On top of that, the Honor 10 has 24MP+16MP dual-lens AI assisted cameras on the rear. It comes with Semantic Image Segmentation technology, allowing users to separate layers in an image and identify multiple objects in a photo, making every shot looking like a professional one. Meanwhile, the front is a 24MP one, with bokeh features for selfies with a background blur. Battery wise, the Honor 10 has a 3,400mAh battery that’ll last more than a day. It also has a Super Charge feature allowing a 50% charge in just 25 minutes.
The Honor 10 designers have combined aesthetics with engineering, with the glass curves perfectly blended with the device’s metal frame. The aurora glass design takes its inspiration from aerial net sculptures, with layers upon layers of glass used to make the 180 degree infinite tangent plane where every degree is colorised. This gives it the ever-changing color of the aurora. It also has an Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the glass on the front. This allows you to unlock even with wet hands. There’s even a face unlock feature for the Honor 10.
It comes in four separate designs: Midnight Black, Glacier Grey, Phantom Green, and Phantom Blue.
You can start buying the Honor 10 on May 24th onwards, while preorders are already available. It will be priced at RM1,699 and will be exclusively available on Shopee and www.hihonor.com/my.
