HONOR keeps it real with its latest collaboration
HONOR Malaysia have announced its latest collaboration and this time, they tap into the local film industry. The collaboration, which involves local filmmakers Quek Shio Chuan and Ismail Kamarul, revolves around capturing the directors’ lives off camera using their latest flagship model, the View20. The partnership is an interesting one as it bridges local art with technology and will also undoubtedly capture vivid experiences, tell compelling stories and push the limits of these directors’ visual expressions.
The View 20, which was launched in January this year, is touted to signal a new era in smartphone technology by HONOR. The phone comes equipped with a powerful 48MP camera and with 3D camera technology rolled in there as well, the View20 is set to redefine smartphone photography capabilities.

Both the filmmakers have made waves in the local film making industry with their heart-warming festive themed TVCs. Quek, an award winning filmmaker is set to direct an upcoming mandarin original series for Netflix, making him one of the first Malaysians to collaborate with the streaming giant.
