Looks like Siri is a bit more useful with the latest update.

iPhone and iPad users can now ask Siri to read messages aloud. Ever since Apple opened up Siri’s platform, many apps have tapped in to the platform, which in WhatsApp’s case, allowed users to send texts using their voice since September.

By a simple command of “Hey Siri, read my last WhatsApp message” Siri will dictate the most recent text. If anything, it certainly will come in handy while driving – so you can keep your eyes on the road.

Supported devices must be running iOS 10.3 and above. WhatsApp also made visual tweaks to the Calls tab, Contact Info and Group Info screens, while adding the ability to add multiple statuses.
