Samsung are debuting a new service, the “Galaxy Sanitising Service” to help Malaysian users combat the Coronavirus by sanitising your most held object everyday, your smartphone.

This service is available in every Samsung Service Centre in Malaysia. Now, you may be asking yourself, what can they do that’s so special?

The Galaxy Sanitising Service will sanitise your Galaxy phone for free, with a UV-C light, which cleans your device without using harsh chemicals. Samsung has already carefully tested these sanitisation devices to ensure that the UV-C light doesn’t affect your phone’s performance, when flowing the approved guidelines.

They do mention that the UV-C sanitisers at the Samsung locations are third-party devices, and effectiveness of these sanitisers may vary depending on market and model. And for your information, the service is actually available to even non Samsung users. All you gotta do is walk in to your nearest Samsung Service Center, and they’ll help you out with the service.

They’re also making the service available for Samsung Tabs and the Galaxy Smart Watch, so you can get those sanitised as well. However do keep in mind that for the Tab and Smart Watches, it’s only available in the service centres at The Garden and Pavilion.
