
DC FanDome, the first-ever virtual showcase for DC Comics and Warner Brothers, took place over the weekend. The virtual convention was rife with new movie trailers, announcements, and exciting gameplay footage for DC fanboys and fangirls the world over. There really was something for everyone this time!
From Games Montreal’s Gotham Knights reveal to the first trailer of Black Adam and Wonder Woman 1984, DC really brought out the big guns with this one.
So in conjunction with DC Fandome, we felt the need to share some of what we thought were the biggest moments from DC FanDome!
Gotham Knights Game Announcement
The new video game from the developers of “Batman: Arkham Origins” is the first Batman game to not feature Batman. Instead players will done the Bat-themed suits of Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing and Redhood to battle villians, Mr. Freeze and the Court of Owls to protect Gotham City. Batman and Police Commissioner Gordon have passed on in the game’s universe.
Zack Synder’s “Justice League” Trailer

The fan campaign to see Zack Snyders’s original version of “Justice League” has bore fruit as the director debuted the first trailer. Just go to show, if you whine enough at big corporations, things will happen. I am looking at you, Community #SixSeasonsAndAMovie.
The extended movie will feature new looks at Batman, WW, Aquaman, Cyborg, Flash and a black suited Superman. Snyder also added that the four hour movie will be available for viewing as a four hour film or as four, one-hour segments on HBO Max
Robert Pattinson In “The Batman” Trailer
Yes! A new Batman film! Director Matt Reeves’ debuted the trailer for the new Batman film, featuring Robert Pattinson at DC FanDome. According to Reeves, the movie story will take place in Year Two from the early days of the Caped Crusader’s career. The trailer hints at a tone more gritty grounded and vigilante from the Batman.
Wonder Woman 1984 Trailer
A new Wonder Woman movie! And this time with Kristin Wiig! Patty Jenkins’ follow up to her 2017 hit showed us footage from the new film. The full virtual panel of cast members including Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristin Wiig and Pedro Pascal, Jenkins debuted the new trailer and it was splendid.
The Suicide Squad Roster Of Villains Unveiled
James Gunn has been hush hush on the character details of many of the Suicide Squad’s cast but no more – DC released a sneak peak revealing some behind the scenes footage of the new film which seems to be a blend of 1970s war movies infused with Gunn’s particular humourous take on the villainous group.
First Look At Dwayne Johnson In Black Adam Concept Trailer
The Rock has been developing a film based on the anti-hero for a while, and he unleashed a first look at what it will look like. Admittedly, it was all concept art but still pretty cool.
