Apple recently announced that it made some of its Apple TV+ original series and movies free through its Apple TV+ app. What good timing too, since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was just extended.

Anyone with an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, MacBook, and select Samsung or LG smart TVs will be able to access Apple TV+ and enjoy the free content.

Users will have to use their Apple ID and sign-in to the app, but they won’t need to subscribe to enjoy the free  content.

Those without a device that has the Apple TV+ app will, unfortunately, be unable to enjoy the free shows despite Apple claiming it’s “free for everyone”.

It’s currently only live in the US, though it’s mentioned other countries will start to see the free contents’ availability starting 11 April 2020.

Shows that have been made free from Apple include range from a documentary, to some original series’ and movies’.

Shows like “The Elephant Queen”, “Little America”, “For All Mankind”, “Dickinson”, and “Ghostwriter” are among some of the shows Apple has generously made available for free viewing.

Unfortunately, “The Morning Show” is not included among them. Nevertheless, Apple gave quite a good offering of shows for people to watch while at home.

The offer doesn’t last forever, though, and is only available for a limited run. While the duration isn’t specified, it’s safe to assume it’ll be until things return to normal.
