Oh boy, here comes another free game. Honestly, the theme of this game seems in tune with our current pandemic situation.

I am talking about none other than World War Z, which is now available for free on the Epic Store! Not only that, but it’s also heavily discounted on Xbox One.

Why Xbox One, in particular? Well, that’s because the game has cross-play between these two platforms, which is pretty neat! PS4 players won’t get to join in on the fun at the moment, unfortunately, though cross-play with the console will arrive at some point. So don’t worry about missing out!

World War Z is a game loosely based on the 2006 book and set in the same world as its 2013 film. In the games, players control a group of survivors who must survive the zombie apocalypse in multiple city settings.

If it’s not clear already, the game will be a co-operative shooter like Left 4 Dead, though it’s in third-person instead. Also like Left 4 Dead, four players are set to battle the zombie horde in major cities like Moscow, New York, Tokyo and many more.
