Haier Launches “Haier World of Home Appliances”

Let’s face it, many of us when buying home appliances don’t bother or even understand the various specifications. Instead, we may go with what feels will fit with our style and will improve quality of life. As such, Haier is launching their leading products in the Malaysian market this year to provide the best solutions that elevates consumer lifestyles, especially of those from the younger generation.

“We will launch more than 30 new products in Malaysia this year, including innovative products with world-leading technology such as the Haier 4-Door Series Inverter Refrigerator with Triple Cooling System and Dry & Humidity Zones, Haier Direct Drive (DD) Inverter Self-Cleaning washing machine, Smart Clean Inverter air conditioner, anti-dry Smart Kitchen appliances and many more,” says managing director, Shi Zhiyuan.

The Haier 4-Door Series Inverter Refrigerator uses dry-wet storage preservation technology. This solves major preservation issues such as dampness, drying, freezing, and odour mix. One way it does so is the refrigerator compartment that’s divided into humidity and dry zone.

The humidity zone uses evaporator air frost replenishment and HCS Vegetal Bio-Membrane technology, automatically sensing humidity levels at all times. This maintains the optimal humidity of 95% and above for the food stored. Meanwhile, the dry zone uses micro air-duct technology to maintain the optimal humidity of 45% and below for the dry food stored. This is to prevent dampness and spoilage.

The second way it solves preservation issues is the freezer compartment having 15KG super freezing capacity with faster freezing times. These two functions preserve nutrients in food without loss.

The third way is the Haier switch zone with variable temperature control technology. It allows continuous adjustable temperature, from 5°C to -20°C. You can store anything you like and adjust the temperature to achieve the best preservation. Here’s a tip on the temperatures: Vegetables (5°C); Yogurt (4°C); Fruits (2°C); Fermented Meat (-3°C) and Raw Fish (0°C); Soft Frozen (-7°C); Slight Frozen (-12°C); and Frozen (-20°C).

“I believe that these Haier innovations will be favourable to the consumers because our products not only provide very good solutions for their lifestyle, but also perfectly match the younger generation’s pursuit of style, humanity and values,” says Shi Zhiyuan.

Globally, Haier has 10 R&D centres, 24 industrial parks, and 108 factories with products marketed all over the world. Domestically, the electronics giant has been in the Malaysian market for 16 years. They import most of its products and distributes them to over 300 outlets in Malaysia. There’s a full range of home appliances available such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and small appliances, among others.

As part of the company’s market expansion, it unveils the “Haier World of Home Appliances”, a gateway into the world of Haier products. This follows the successful opening of “Haier Experience Centre” at SetiaWalk, Puchong earlier this year. There are plans to build more self-brand shops too.

The Haier Careline is also now operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It hopes that this way they can better serve its consumers. It’s a positive sign of Haier’s advances in Malaysia. There will also be deals galore during the 2018 FIFA World Cup and Hari Raya celebrations from 15 May-31 July.
