Google has finally revealed pricing and availability for its much anticipated game streaming service, Google Stadia. All you gamer’s waiting in anticipation won’t have to wait for much longer, with the release date slated for November 2019. All that is great and all but for us Malaysian gamers, it’s bad news across the board as Google Stadia won’t be made available in Malaysia just yet.

Getting over that, The tech giant also showcased a special Founder’s Edition of Google Stadia that is already available for pre-order now that will come with a Chromecast Ultra puck, limited-edition Night Blue controller, “first dibs” on a Stadia username, and two three-month Stadia Pro subscriptions — one for you and a friend. The founder’s pack can be yours for US$ 129.99 but if that’s too much for you, Stadia Pro will otherwise cost US$9.99 per month and grants you access to Google’s library at up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, with HDR and 5.1 surround sound.

So what are the game titles that will be coming to Stadia you ask? Well Google announced its “first wave” of titles yesterday and they are as follows:

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Doom Eternal, Doom (2016), Rage 2, The Elder Scrolls Online, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Destiny 2, Get Packed, Grid, Metro Exodus, Thumper, Farming Simulator 19, Baldur’s Gate 3, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Football Manager, Samurai Shodown, Final Fantasy XV, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, NBA 2K, Borderlands 3, Gylt, Mortal Kombat 11, Darksiders Genesis, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Just Dance, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Trials Rising, and The Crew 2.

Not too shabby. On top of that, the above games will be complemented with yet-to-be-announced Capcom, EA and Rockstar software, so that sound’s rather exciting. According to Google, an active Stadia Pro subscription will also grant you exclusive discounts on games for purchase, which is similar to that of PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold.

There are also plans in the works to offer a Stadia base service next year that allows you to buy and keep individual games, which is a great option should Stadia Pro sound too expensive for you. The only caveat is that purchases will be capped at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second with stereo sound. At least Google is thinking about a plan for everyone, I guess.

Stadia will be available in the following countries at launch: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
