Google has added more than 1000 new images to Earth View, which they say is their biggest update yet to their collection. They already had some pretty stunning views and colourful landscape images from Google Earth, but now look at even more of the world! Images in the collection are taken via satelite and includes 2500 images from different parts of the world.

These pictures also are available up to 4K resolutions, and it makes sense. Some of the pictures make for a good wallpaper. They’ll also in turn, be sharper, have better colours, and updated for 4K resolutions, as they mention in their company blog post.

If you were unaware, Earth View takes the best of the best landscape and sattelite images from Google Earth, enhances them, and then is posted up in the Earth View gallery. I mean, check out some of the pictures and tell me you would’ve known this was Earth if I didn’t tell you:

It’s not a huge update, but you should take the time to look at this images, see the world as you would never have known it. It’s an interesting little tidbit that I think really is cool. Plus, like I said, cool a** wallpapers.
