Gosh, Google is 20 years old but it feels we had the omni search engine like forever! And to think PC.com is just 2 years younger than the worlds biggest search company, only we had bought a share or two of the company.But lets not digress as we do wonder what life was like before Google, that’s a question many would have trouble describing.

In paying homage to the billion of users who curiously type away or now whisper into the mobile for their searches, the tech giant updated the main screen doodle with throwbacks of trendy searches throughout its 20 year life.

Thursday’s doodle and hidden in Search for a limited time, users will be thrown back to (and flashed forward from) the days when “what is Y2K?” was the most burning tech question, Pluto was still a planet, and if clip art was a critical part of visual communication.
