Buzzfeed and Viber bring you Viber Public Chat
Viber and Buzzfeed users rejoice, for the mobile communications app and social news site has joint hands to launch Viber Public Chat. This Public Chat will give you exclusives on the most interesting stories on the internet.
The new Public Chat will see Buzzfeed’s content team making contributions by keeping conversation going and sharing news that Viber users can follow in real-time. Users will also be able to select what type of content they like.
Viber CMO Mark Hardy is excited for the new venture with Buzzfeed, saying “This Public Chat gives Viber users the inside scoop on the most shareable content and allows them to experience breaking news, commentary and chat from the experts as it unfolds.”
On behalf of Buzzfeed head of Product Lead, Growth and Data, Ben Ronne who spoke of Buzzfeed’s desire for new channels to expand its reach and that Public Chat is one such opportunity. With Public Chat, Buzzfeed now has a new avenue of spreading its latest news, lifestyle, and entertainment content.
