From holding the phone at the launch event to having it for 2 weeks. I’m talking about the next level flagship smartphone, the Mi 10T Pro! We did an unboxing video of this phone which you can watch right here.
Now the phone is said to be “Next Level Flagship” but how exactly next level is “Next Level”? That’s what we’re here for. So, for this review, like always, I will be mentioning from design, usability, value and I will give my final thoughts at the end. Let’s get to it.
Design and Display
The Mi 10T Pro does feel a little bulky so if you’re not used to bigger phones, it will take you a while to get used to it but in my opinion, the bulkiness makes the phone feels strong, especially after putting the phone case on. With a glass front and back, and a metal frame, it feels fairly solid in the hand.
The colour we received was Lunar Silver which looks really good. Definitely reminds me of the moon. The Mi 10T Pro has a 6.67″ IPS LCD, 1080x2400px resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen is pretty big so if you’re into bigger screen phones, this is perfect for you. You can definitely enjoy watching videos or Netflix on this phone. Next level design? Maybe not but still a good one.
Battery Life
Now I’m what most impressed about this phone is the battery life. The Mi 10T Pro is equipped with 5000 mAh battery with 33W Fast charging. The fast charging is good as it charges from 3% to 70% in half an hour. Not as fast as its competitors but the long-lasting battery life beats every phone we’ve reviewed so far.
One of the ways I tested out the battery life was by playing Genshin Impact on the phone. The game is a heavy game and can drain out your battery quick so I want to test how long the Mi 10T Pro can last. After playing for 2 hours, the battery life went from 100% to 80%. That’s really impressive!
On a normal use, the battery can last you 2 days after a full charge. I didn’t have to worry about charging it overnight or if I forgot to charge it for the next day. So next level flagship battery? Check!
Camera
The camera on the Mi 10T Pro is definitely giving every phone out there a run for their money. The Mi 10T Pro is equipped with next level 108MP flagship AI Camera. Quad-cameras are the trend these days and the FHD quality on this phone is so good.
Here are some raw unedited photos I’ve taken with the Mi 10T Pro. I think they’re pretty great but you can judge them yourself. What do you think?
If you’re not impressed, the Mi 10T Pro has 8K video recording! 8K! Most TVs don’t even have 8K yet but this phone has 8K video recording. One step ahead. Although you can’t record very long videos with the 8K video recording, but what’s good about it is that you can snap 33MP images or screenshots directly from the 8K recording.

That’s not to say the usual 1080p recording is bad. I think it’s pretty good too. I even filmed a song cover video using the phone which you can watch here. The video stabilisation on the Mi 10T Pro is also very good. I can move as freely as I can and you won’t get motion sickness from watching the recording. Next level camera? Check!
Performance
Mi 10T Pro comes with a Snapdragon 865 chipset and the 2 weeks I’ve used this phone, I encounter little to no lags or delay. Everything ran smoothly. Again, I tested the performance by playing Genshin Impact. You can see how fast and smooth the gameplay is in the video below. It responded well to the controls and never once has it crashed on me. Next level performance? Check!

Final Thoughts
So, is the Mi 10T Pro next level flagship? I personally think so. Opinions may vary but one can’t deny that the phone is definitely going in the right direction in most aspects. In terms of battery life, it definitely can last you longer than a day on normal use after a full charge.
Performance, don’t have to worry about the phone crashing or lagging especially if you’re in the middle of a boss fight. If you want to start your YouTube career, the camera will definitely help get you started.
This very sexy phone comes at a very sexy price at RM 1,999. All the next level flagship features under RM 2,000, what could be better? Worth the price. Have you guys own the Mi 10T Pro? What do you think? Share us your opinion in the comments below.
